Subject List Class 10th
NIOS is the largest open schooling system under Union Government of India for Secondary and Senior Secondary students. It is a board of Central Government. Minimum age limit of Secondary Examination is 14 years and there is no maximum age limit. Previous education qualification may be 5th class but one requirement is the candidate must be able to read and write one of the languages listed in the board’s subjects list. Admission Enquiry
This course is equivalent to 10th class compared to other boards in India. You can choose subjects from the scheme of subjects available in NIOS board. You must choose at least one language subject with the other four subjects to get certified from NIOS. The subject list for class 10th is categorized into 2 groups- Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
SCHEME OF STUDIES:- To obtaining a pass certificate, you are required to pass in a minimum of five subjects Including one or maximum of two languages from Group ‘A’ and other three or four subjects from Group (B). However, you are free to take upto two additional subjects. Thus, in all you can choose maximum of seven subjects.
